Dan's commitment to excellence began at the start of his professional career while working as the food and beverage manager for Boomtown. In doing so, he learned early that premier customer service, the utmost professionalism and personal responsibility were the paramount traits of a successful business. It's with those traits that Dan has lived his professional life and with which he guides Innerwest Advertising and Public Relations.
After migrating to advertising, a field more in line with his formal education at the University of Nevada, Reno, Dan steadily built his reputation as a premiere advertising executive. This success was honored in 2000 when he was recognized as the Advertising Person of the Year by the Advertising Association of Northern Nevada.
Having worked in every facet of advertising, marketing and public relations, Dan knows the communications industry from the ground up. His business expertise includes project management, strategic planning, business development and all things big picture.
While Dan's advertising acumen could easily have led him to a larger market and bigger company, the lifestyle of the Reno-Sparks area maintains an unrelenting grip on his spirit that keeps him rooted firmly in the Reno community.
A strong believer in the future of the community, Dan also participates in many charitable organizations and is currently the treasurer of the Bretzlaff Foundation.
 Managed all marketing and advertising activities for Northern Nevada’s
oldest and largest manufacturing dairy. Included new product roll-outs.
 Served as Account Manager and lead agency contact for Airtouch Cellular Northern Nevada and Northern California. Managed all aspects from research and retail product development to creative development.
 Managed and supervised all advertising, marketing and public relations efforts including development of numerous campaigns that received creative and effectiveness awards.
 Managed the acquisition of the account and then the conversion and roll-out from the State owned SIIS, to privately owned EICON.
 Developed and managed launch of marketing for Advertising, and Public Relations for a number of award-winning integrated campaigns that served to grow this community into the largest locally owned and operated residential developer in Northern Nevada.
 Engineered and implemented strategic marketing for Advertising and Public Relations to assist this Washington Indian Casino become highly successful.
 Oversaw a strategy that focused on a proven track record of building and managing a strong Players’ Club database to drive repeat business at a faster rate than that of main competitors.
 Strategically marketed this new brand into Northern Nevada’s largest locally owned bank, winning three Ace Awards for excellence from the American Marketing Association.
